    On June 25, The Agnelli Foundation presented its 2013 Sustainability Report, in Turin, at the Nursery School in Corso Ciriè, a suburban school where the Foundation has already sustained an international music education project which aimed to social inclusion. Also the Vice Chairman of the Foundation, John Elkann, attended the event.

  • The Agnelli Foundation presents the new Report on the School in Italy

    On February 19, the Agnelli Foundation presented in Rome its new Report “La Valutazione della scuola. A cosa serve e perchè è necessara in Italia”. With this research study the Foundation aims to provide concrete data in order to better understand weaknesses of the Italian educational system and reasons for this delay, by offering some innovative diagnostic instruments to schools and some effective orientation instruments to families.

    The Foundation remembers Giovanni Agnelli ten years after his death. The Foundation was created in 1966 in dedication to the memory of his grandfather , Senator Giovanni Agnelli, 100 years after his birth. It is a research and cultural centre , of which he was President from 1967 to 2003. He always thought that the Foundation was the right solution, in terms of legality and efficiency, to enhance and diffuse the knowledge of the conditions on which economic, scientific, social and cultural progress is based on the Italian environment as a whole.

  • The exhibition “ no paging is forbidden”

    The exhibition “No paging is forbidden”, organized by Area Onlus, has been included in this years International Book Fair 2013 program. It consists of a collection of children books which highlights the role of literature as a tool for interacting and exchanging ideas. It is also an excellent opportunity to enhance the themes on disability in children's literature.

  • Mathematics counts!

    On January, 29 2013 400 primary school students from Turin and Piedmont and 45 teachers attended an event at the Museo dell’Automobile of Turin, to play with mathematics and statistics. John Elkann, the vice chairman of the Agnelli Foundation, was also present at the meeting. This scientific workshop, in its third edition, wants to bring students closer to scientific subjects, involving them directly through direct and interactive activities, since their first years of elementary school.

  • A work-project

    A new work -project sponsored by Unicredit Group has been launched by the Faro Foundation. A 4 month course, consisting of an initial work orientation phase, followed by an internship in a company, with the objective of giving 10 young specialized Italian and non Italian artisans, in difficult conditions, the possibility of being intergrated into a working and social environment.

    A two-day event attended by 5000 people, which included children and adults, was organized by Ginera Elkann, President of the museum, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Pinacoteca Agnelli. Ms. Elkann commented that she was very happy with the outcome of the event and the public.
